Description

Under conditions of large elastic-plastic bending of metal materials, regardless of the initial degree of bending, the hydraulic precision leveler uses the "Bauschinger effect" to repeatedly bend the plate. This process gradually reduces bending deflection, transforming various initial curvatures into a single, uniform curvature and ultimately leveling the material to the desired accuracy.

The hydraulic leveling machine is widely used in industry due to its advanced technology, high leveling precision, broad processing range, high degree of automation, and reliable, stable performance under high stress. During the roll leveling process, the metal plate undergoes a series of alternating bends. Precise control of the pressing amount for each leveling roller is achieved through hydraulic cylinders and PLC control, eliminating internal stress and resolving inconsistencies in leveling results caused by varying stresses across different parts of the plate. This ensures high-precision leveling. The machine's rigid hydraulic structure minimizes deformation during operation and facilitates cleaning and maintenance.

How to use a Part Leveler

Using a high precision part leveler involves several steps to ensure that the part is leveled accurately and efficiently. Here is a general guide:

      1. Safety Precautions

      • Wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE): Ensure you have safety glasses, gloves, and any other necessary protective gear.
      • Read the Manual: Familiarize yourself with the manufacturer's instructions and safety guidelines for the specific part leveler you are using.

      2. Preparation

      • Inspect the Machine: Check for any signs of wear, damage, or debris that could affect performance.
      • Set Up the Workspace: Ensure the area is clean and free of obstacles. Secure the part leveler on a stable surface if it is a portable unit.

      3. Loading the Part

      • Prepare the Part: Ensure the part to be leveled is clean and free from any burrs or contaminants.
      • Position the Part: Place the part on the leveler's worktable or input conveyor. Align it according to the machine's specifications.

      4. Adjusting the Machine Settings

      • Set Thickness and Tension: Adjust the rollers to the correct thickness and tension settings for the part being leveled.
      • Calibration: If required, calibrate the machine according to the part's specifications. This might include adjusting the entry and exit rollers.

      5. Operating the Machine

      • Power On: Turn on the machine and ensure it is operating correctly.
      • Feed the Part: Start feeding the part into the leveler. Depending on the machine, this could be done manually or automatically.
      • Monitor the Process: Watch the part as it moves through the leveler, ensuring it is moving smoothly and without obstruction.

      6. Inspection and Adjustment

      • Check the Output: Inspect the part as it exits the leveler for flatness and any signs of damage or defects.
      • Make Adjustments: If the part is not level to the required precision, adjust the machine settings and reprocess the part as needed.

      7. Post-Operation

      • Power Down: Turn off the machine once leveling is complete.
      • Clean the Machine: Remove any debris and clean the machine to maintain its condition.
      • Maintenance Check: Perform any routine maintenance as recommended by the manufacturer.
